Metal Forming

Metal fabrication is one of the first and most important manufacturing steps in creating a finished part. Miller Welding & Machine Co. uses a variety of processes to manipulate steel plates and sheet metal, providing you with a turnkey solution to all of your industrial fabrication requirements.

We use leading-edge metal fabrication equipment to cut a wide range of material thicknesses. Plus, our advanced production-line logistics help you reduce costs by streamlining production.

Our metal and steel fabrication services are carefully designed to provide you with a seamless transition from one process to the next. You’re able to choose from simple cut sheet metal and plate shapes, ready-to-assemble kits or complex assemblies.

Oxy-Fuel Cutting

Oxy-fuel cutting equipment reaches temperatures up to 6,000 degrees Fahrenheit to cut through material up to 12 inches thick. Our operators cut through the most demanding material grades with expert skill.

For industries like heavy construction and mining and materials handling, Miller Welding & Machine Co. is the first choice in industrial fabrication suppliers. Our oxy-fuel cutting equipment’s travel range measures 204 inches by 600 inches for the most efficient cutting. We are also capable of staging multiple plates on our tables simultaneously, increasing production speed so you receive your custom fabrications sooner.

Plasma Cutting

As a precision approach to cutting both thin and thick materials quickly, plasma cutting is highly effective for many grades of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Specialized equipment produces a hot, localized “cone” of plasma that cuts materials up to two inches thick with laser-point accuracy. Very little post-cutting conditioning is required.

Our operators are adept at cutting intricate curved and angular shaped patterns so your exact specifications are met. Precise cutting techniques also reduce scrap, saving you significantly on material costs.

Laser Cutting

CNC (computer numerically controlled) metal laser cutting processes high volumes of material up to 3/4 inches thick and measuring 60 inches by 120 inches and a tolerance of +/- 0.005 inches. By limiting material warping and achieving the most accurate cut, laser cutting reduces the need for additional steps in the manufacturing process, such as welding, grinding, flattening and machining.

Our laser-cutting machines are equipped with 12-shelf automated plate and sheet handling systems. This allows us to operate virtually non-stop. As a result, your OEM receives inventory much quicker, and we’re capable of meeting increased production demands.

Metal Forming

When your products require metal or tube bends, or combinations of bends at different angular degrees, we help you produce high-quality parts with our industrial metal forming services.

Our CNC hydraulic press brakes handle up to 750 tons, so we’re equipped to form your light gauge sheet metal to various grades of steel plate up to 3 inches thick. Choose to produce a single part or use our metal forming service as a step within a larger assembly. Miller Welding & Machine Co. streamlines your processes and meets any metal bending need.
