In 1963, Mr. Miller catered to the needs of the mining and lumber industries in Western Pennsylvania, but he soon began serving steel companies located in Pittsburgh. The steel industry became one of our core operations, securing our growth in the coming decades.

By the early 1980s, Miller Welding & Machine Co. had become integrated in the manufacturing industry. We were already providing metal fabrication and welding services for industries such as construction, plastics, food and material handling.

Today, we have approximately 400 employees and have evolved into a single-source supplier for every metal manufacturing need. Over the years, we’ve made many changes. But the three generations of family members who currently lead our company continue to follow in our founder’s footsteps, focusing on customer growth and service above all else.

Our mission is to produce high-quality parts and assemblies by continually improving our internal processes. We aim to be timely and efficient as we satisfy the expectations of our customers. At the same time, we seek to invest in new technology, provide employees with a safe work environment, and build long-term relationships with our customers, vendors, employees and community through professional and ethical conduct.

Facilities

Our manufacturing facilities, located in Western Pennsylvania, work seamlessly together. Your parts and assemblies may go through one or more of our facilities, as each location is responsible for its own set of functions.

Never static, our plants are continuously updated as we work toward a leaner metal manufacturing model. What started in a garage in 1963 has evolved into three technologically advanced manufacturing locations:

100,000 square feet of machining, forming, plate processing and welding operations, and our corporate headquarters
